B.A.P and EXO-K have been battling it out for the top spot in the Best New Male Artist category, and after overtaking EXO-K yesterday, B.A.P continues to take the lead. So, how are our fandoms doing today? First things first,
mama award voting has come to an end (cheer insert here juseyo?)!
If you have been following, this is an intense battle for the 2012 mama rookie award for the male choice. who is it between?
exo and b.a.p.
I've never witnessed an actual expanding "fanwar" since the thing between vip's and cassies (dbsk and big bang), so this is quite interesting and entertaining.
for those of you who have followed, b.a.p. won the online voting. congratulations b.a.p., fighting!. exo came up close. after days of exo leading, babyz have come together to pull out their votes like *wacham!* *boom* *we ish warriors!* and etc...
however, the intense arguments from both group fandoms have not ceased. instead i see them pretty much increasing...or is it???
on tumblr, if you tag b.a.p. posts or exo posts, you'll see many mixed posts about babyz cheating, exotics cheating, and having none of them win...etc.
imo, I am not too big on being a "fan(atic)" for any type of band. I try to be unbiased as you can see. But in this case, i've been interested in b.a.p. since their debut in january and i consider myself a baby. my sister apart of "syne" is also an exotic. so we are very passionate about them winning mama. yet again, this fanwar has become ridiculous. i'm embarrassed of how babyz are disrespecting exotics. i apologize on some of their behalves. other babyz are like me, untethered by this war. my sister and i are leaving the winner up to fate and i hope that others will too. whichever group wins deserves it. i would very much like b.a.p. to win the award, but exo is a great group that also deserves credit for their awesome debut. they both are incredibly hard working groups and nonetheless both of them will win something in the future.
let's take some consideration for our idols and stop the madness. all idols know each other in some ways and all fandoms must deal with each other. in the end, truth be told (i went there), we're all apart of one fandom: Kpop.
let's show our love and appreciation for all of our groups that have debut thus far. I hope a great group wins the awards, every single one of the groups should get one because they all deserve an award for trying and existing (imo).
